Delhi’s religious historySuch a wonderful experience!! New cities can be really overwhelming to me. I think I let a lot of opportunities pass by because I am to afraid of not knowing the local customs. We can be timid travelers when we visit new countries and having Surekha as a guide helped us to come out of our shells so much! She was entertaining, kind, and knowledgeable. It is very clear she has put so much thought into all of her tours and she guides them with such ease.

We would have been way too nervous to enter any of the temples we went into on the tour if we were on our own, but Surekha showed us that it is not only alright to enter the temples but encouraged! I am so happy we found Surekha, it sounds funny, but she emboldened is for the rest of our trip but showing us how to interact with a foreign culture and made us feel so much more at home in Delhi.

I cannot recommend Surekha’s tours enough, especially if (like me) you are a little shy when visiting a new city. Timothy C, Apr. 2019
